From your hair to your lips to your face, you want to keep that h2o flowing. Here are my favorite products that keep the dryness away:
Laniege Lip Mask
My HOLY GRAIL. This is the product I recommend to everyone I meet. I truly don’t know what magic was put into this lip mask but I won’t question it. I use this as lip balm, all day long. If I don’t have a lip gloss on me, this does the trick just as well. It is soo hydrating when I put it on before bed, they are so soft and supple the next day. HIGHLY recommend. 10/10.
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation
With the current quarantine going on – I have definitely been sporting that #barefacedlewk, but sometimes I like to throw on some makeup to feel like an actual real person again? Like one that leaves the house and sees people and has interactions…. But I digress. (nothing we can do about that for the time being.) When do I throw on makeup, I make sure its a good formula that won’t leave me feeling stripped or dry after. I love this Fenty product, it goes on smooth and even and feels very lightweight. Big fan.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Face Mask
Once I discovered these masks, I started buying them in bulk. They are hydrating gel masks that I keep in the fridge so they are cold and slap it on. It’s made from 100% hydrogel material, so it holds way more moisture than paper sheet masks. It’s also great for sensitive skin and it’s non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog your pores. After I use this I truly feel like my skin chugged a gallon of water.
Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Hair Mask
With all the extra showering and washing away of germs, my hair has felt a little fried the past few times after showering. I take this mask, comb it through my hair and let it sit for about 15 minutes before I go in the shower. Wash it out and then business as usual, except my hair feels silky, soft and shiny. I’ve tried many, many hair masks but this one doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it feel oily or greasy. Plus it has that delicious, signature Moroccan oil smell.
Belief Moisturizing Eye Bomb
Along with keeping our faces hydrated, you gotta pay attention to your undereye area as well. Facial moisturizer was not made for under our eyes, that’s a much more sensitive area. This “eye “bomb” is truly a bomb of water. It hydrates and plumps up your eye bags without being too harsh or heavy. Make sure to lightly pat and not drag, as this skin is thinner than the rest of yours.
Making sure you stay hydrated is essential all the time, but especially now. With so many things out of our control, I find it nice to be able to control how my skin and body feel. Just a little somethin’, ya know! So, grab a bottle of water, a face mask, and some lip balm, and get to hydrating!
