Investing in products that will last and actually work is the sign of being a mature ass grown up who takes pride in themselves and their appearance. Here are a few of the products I splurged on and didn’t regret it at all:
BIOSSANCE Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel
A peptide-rich eye gel that helps reduce the look of puffiness and dark circles—with hydrating squalane and hyaluronic acid. I use this every night and have truly seen a difference with my pesky under-eye bags. Helps with puffiness and dark circles.
Jaclyn Cosmetics Accent Light Highlighter Palette
These palettes of super creamy and buttery highlighters give you light with every swipe. This is truly one of the best highlight palettes I’ve ever bought. Two different versions with four shades each, these are suitable for all skin tones and they SHINE. I feel like a beautiful disco ball when I wear this – in the best way possible.
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask
A leave-on lip mask that soothes and moisturizes for smoother, more supple lips overnight. AND THAT IT DOES, BABY. This lip mask, which I use both and day and night, is the perfect antidote to cracked, chapped lips. Seriously, my lips are more baby smooth than my two-year-old niece’s! I also can slap this on as a lip gloss substitute and always get compliments on my pout.
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
This concealer is the GOAT. Worth every damn penny. I’ve recently had some bad breakouts and this is my key product to tricking people into thinking my skin is flawless. Along with being an awesome concealer for under-eye bags or zits, I also use this for highlighting and contouring! For highlighting, use a concealer two shades lighter than your usual color, and two shades darker for contouring. It doesn’t budge!
SUMMER FRIDAYS Jet Lag Mask
Even if you arent jet-lagged from a fabulous trip, I’m positive your skin can use some T.L.C. This mask is like having your skin drink a gallon of water. SO hydrating and thick – this is my must-have to combat Boston’s harsh, blustery winters. Also, a great mask in the summer if you’ve gotten a bit too much sun and need to rehydrate your face. With ingredients like Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and Sodium Hyaluronate – you know you’re in good, CLEAN hands.
SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic
The #1 Vitamin C serum! This is a cult classic for a reason – it works. This formula improves signs of aging and photodamage to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles while firming and brightening your complexion. Once it’s absorbed into your skin it keeps forking for up to 72 hours. If you’re looking to start your morning off right and bright, invest in this serum.
Have you tried any of these? Or do you have a product that you splurged on and now can’t go back?1 Let me know in the comments!
