So, of course, over the past few months I have been testing out new products and seeing which ones would become a permanent addition to my skincare and makeup collections. Here are the ones that I really gravitated towards, the ones that gave my look that extra sumthin’, ya know!
Here are my top 5 I discovered recently:
Fenty – Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer
In the past I was never a huge fan of cream bronzer. I had tried many and hated them all, with them either being too “muddy”-looking or too dry and chalky. So, I stuck to powder, and that was fine for a while but lately, I’ve been REALLY into the dewy, creamy look. Enter: Fenty Beauty Cream Bronzer. It’s SO GOOD. Creamy, easily blendable and very natural looking.
It’s vegan and cruelty free, and it literally feels like it melts into my skin as I’m blending it. I usually will go over it with a swipe of Hourglass Ambient Light Bronzer to keep it set and in place, and that makes it last ALLLL night.
Heritage Store – Rosewater Spray
For a long time, I was looking for perfect daytime facial toner. My skin is a bit sensitive sometimes so I am always searching for clean products with minimal ingredients. This rose spray is amazing, it only has TWO ingredients: Hydroessential Rose Oil & Vor-Mag water. (Vor-Mag water is water that has been vortexed and magnetized to raise the energy to a higher vibration that we believe to be more beneficial.)
I spritz this on after I use my cleanser both day and night. This calms redness, tones and soothes my skin. It really is such a refreshing moisturizing bomb and makes my skin happy.
NUDESTIX – Tinted Cover Foundation
I am a real sucker for any make-up or skincare from Korea. So many korean products are amazing, made with YOUR skin in mind. This foundation is no exception. I honestly think of this foundation as more of a tinted moisturiser – it goes on light, so you can easily build it up, and evens + brightens our skin tones.
This product is free of parabens and includes some awesome ingredients including: – lavender oil, which helps reduce stress, 18 natural extracts which work as skin-brightening minerals and tea tree which works to support skin against stressors. I always apply this with a foundation brush then dab and smooth out with a damp beauty blender.
L’Oreal – True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer
As i’ve said above, i am VERRRYYY much into the dewy, glowy, luminous makeup look. I want to look like a fricken dewy blade of grass at 6 AM – and this product really helps me achieve that goal.
The instructions for this are to simply dab it on to areas you want to highlight, but I actually like to mix it in with my foundation for an all over fresh, luminous glow. It comes in a few different shades so i would pick the one similar to your foundation. Squirt some pumps of foundation on the back of your hand, a few drops of the glotion and mix, then apply. GLOW UP TIME.
DERMA E – Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citrus Facial Peel
This has to be my favorite product on the list. I was skeptical at first, as I’ve tried a few different vitamin c products and was slightly underwhelmed with each one. This one gets the job DONE. It’s clean, cruelty free and it’s main purpose is wrinkle reduction, fine line reduction and smoothing. I love all of those.
I use this peel about once a week as it’s a little strong. After cleansing, apply this all over your face and neck. Leave on for about 5 minutes, then scrape off with the little spoon provided, which helps exfoliate your skin, and rinse. You will literally be glowing and bright once you wash this off. Formulated with glycolic and lactic acids and lemon extract, this powerful peel helps to loosen and lift dead skin cells and impurities to deliver fantastic results.
