417 Union St, Nashville, TN 37219
If you want a meal you’ll be thinking about long after your trip is over, this is the place to go. I went to 417 Union in the spring of 2017 with my girlfriends and we still talk about our dishes till this day. This sweet lil’ southern spot serves breakfast, lunch and dinner – I recommend the breakfast though. From mimosas and bloody marys to fluffy biscuits and savory chicken and waffles, this place does it all and does it all in the best way possible. HIGHLY recommended.
416 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203
Okay so I’m SURE you’ve heard of this place, and I will tell you, it 100% lives up to the hype. The food at this place, oh man. IT’S AMAZING. You get a tray, go up (cafeteria style) and pick what you want. They have alllll the barbecue staples: pulled pork, baked beans, mac and cheese, coleslaw – the works! There are obviously countless sports like this in Nashville, but Jack’s is my personal favorite. <3
Five Daughters Bakery
1110 Caruthers Ave, Nashville, TN 37204 + multiple other locations
Donut lovers unite. Besides the fact that this place is aesthetically pleasing af (neon signage, pastels everywhere), the donuts are amazing. They have a huge variety of flavors, but a fan favorite is the vanilla creme. If donuts aren’t your thing, they also have freshly baked cookies and other pastries. Drop into any location for a donut, a picture and some lovely outdoor seating.
Acme Feed & Seed
101 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37201
This huge, multi-level spot has great food, but two things brought me back multiple times: the roof deck and the frozen moonshine lemonades. Funny story, I actually discovered this place by accident. My friends and I were doing a pedal tavern (SO FUN) and got rear ended (not so fun) right outside here – so we went inside. This roof deck has seriously the most beautiful view in all of Nashville. They have frozen moonshine lemonades, similar to frose, which we all were obsessed with. They also have sushi, whiskey flights and amazing BBQ. Seriously, hit this place up.
Losers Bar & Grill
1911 Division St, Nashville, TN 37203
LOVE this bar. There two bars right next to each other, Winners and Losers. Losers is the place to be though. A no-frills, nitty gritty dive bar with great drinks and great music. String lights everywhere, outdoor seating and a strong vodka soda – what else do you need? This is a must hit spot in Nashville – a lot of local celebs, singers and musicians hit it up too!
Tootsies Orchid Lounge
422 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203
Would it really be a list of the best places to go in Nashville without talking about Tootsies? This lilac hot-spot is something you just have to cross off your bucket list when you’re in Music City. This place is iconic and has been for years (Willie Nelson got his first songwriting job after singing here!!!) Go here for the drinks, the people and the view. 10/10.
