Trattoria il Panino
11 Parmenter Street, Boston
If you love Italian food, you will love Trattoria il Panino. The food, the drinks, the ambiance, they’re all perfect *chefs kiss* From fresh bread on the table, savory pasta dishes (I love the ravioli here) and a large wine selection, everyone you bring here will leave satisfied. Located in the North End, this option is a favorite among the many other amazing spots close by. The pasta tastes homemade and is served in a pan (very IG-worthy). This place is small, intimate and a great place to take a date. When you’re done walk over to Dolce for some ice cream to top off the night.
2 Winter Place, Boston
Are you feeling boujie? Wanna dress up, have a cocktail and have a unique night out, hit up Yvonne’s. You entire the speakeasy through big, double doors which open up to the bustling, sophisticated bar. The menu here is fun a different, with items like butternut hummus, charred mushroom toast or spicy feta filled pitas. Getting a cocktail here is a must. Just pick from any of their listed cocktails or ask the bartender to make you a special drink based on what you want. The staff here is so nice and attentive, I’ve never had a bad experience. Make sure to take a peek at the dessert menu and share some Greek donuts!
Citrus & Salt
142 Berkeley Street, Boston
If you’re in Boston and like Mexican food, you need to come to Citrus & Salt. To start off, the chips and guac are GREAT. The chips are salty and crunchy and the guac is a local favorite around here. All the details of this place bring a smile to my face, from the floral-painted wood floors to the contemporary seating and delicious margaritas, I love it all. The desserts really shine here though, favorites being the dole whip and the churros. You and your boo could eat a churro Lady and the Tramp style, what’s more romantic than that?!? (I’m kidding but also that would be reallly funny). It can be a bit loud here – this would probably be better for a group date, but I couldn’t leave it off the list!
Myers & Chang
1145 Washington Street, Boston
Craving Asian? Myers & Chang will fulfill that craving. This place is a bit small so I suggest a reservation, but the service and food are just fantastic. Big dishes that are meant to be shared and are full of flavor. On Monday and Tuesdays, they have date night specials, making this the perfect spot for a start-of-week, relaxing date spot. MC also has a bug vegetarian menu which is a great plus and they are great at accommodating for allergies and dietary restrictions. HIGHLY recommended.
241 Hanover Street, Boston
Ahh, Bricco. I had to save my favorite for last. I LOVE to come here for an after-dinner drink. Not to say this spot isn’t good for a full dinner, as they serve delicious pasta, steaks, and seafood. They also cater to everyone’s favorite thing, late-night eating, with a late night weekend menu from 11:30-close. But I just adore strolling over here for a nice cocktail. Located in the loud, vibrant North End, they have a wide drink range from dessert wine, grappa, old fashions and more. They have an amazing espresso martini that I love to end my night with – you’ll love it!
